American schools teach that with American English it is not what you say but how you say it. Obama is a product of American schools. He said it very well and became President. "They say I’m a socialist," he said in a campaign speech, turning back to his supporters with an ironic smile. His audience laughed and applauded, "what a joke, Obama is a US Senator; he can’t be a socialist!"
Obama’s father was a foreign student from Kenya studying Russian in Hawaii, where he met Obama’s mother, an Irish Catholic, also studying Russian at the same university. Obama was raised as a Muslim out of deference for his father, who although a leftist, was a Muslim. Obama’s father left the family and Obama’s mother and her parents raised Obama. Subsequently Obama’s mother married a Muslim from Indonesia and went to live in Indonesia. A highly educated lady, Obama’s mother was an intelligent woman who had a commitment toward raising Obama well. Obama achieved a great deal and graduated from Harvard. He joined a Black church in Chicago and became a community organizer and an activist for the poor. Obama married a Christian lady and raised a couple of beautiful children. Obama broke through the lines of racial prejudice and succeeded in becoming the President. All this is to his credit. His political journey is well documented.
Fast forward to Obama’s Presidency one year later: what do we have here? Again, well documented; the US is in dire straits. The electorate is dismayed. How could they have elected a man who is so unlike any other American President who ever lived, and it really has nothing to do with the fact that his father was an African. Obama is an American Citizen by law, because his mother was an American citizen and not because he was born in Hawaii. He could have been born anywhere in the world and Obama would still be a US Citizen; but in that case only if his non-citizen father had left his mother. John McCain, for example, was born outside the US, but both his parents were American citizens and they lived together; otherwise he would have to apply for citizenship and qualify. He would not be eligible to run for President, only for Vice-President (like Spiro Agnew, who was born in Greece.) That is US law. However, to become a US President one has to be a real American in substance and principle, and Obama was deemed as such by the largest majority in American history.
It is ironic that Obama’s greatest gift as a politician is that he knows what to say at every occasion. Nobody is perfect, so he does make a few mistakes, especially when he is not reading from a teleprompter, but his ability as a politician to recover and correct his statements is astonishing.
By law Obama will remain President another three years. The main issue for the electorate is how to minimize the damage that the Democratic Party is inflicting on America. It is the Democrats that are in power and it is their policies that are being implemented. The US is a two-party system and there is no way for an outside party to do anything if the minority party does not have the votes to make a difference; it is only the Republican Party that is in a viable position to win back enough seats in the House and the Senate to be able to debate the issues in a fair and just manner. With the Democrats in complete control of the two Houses of the Legislature, it is not possible for the American people to do anything by way of their representatives. In other words, the US has ceased operating as a Democracy for the first time in its two hundred year history.
The US has never been further adrift from its founding principles as it is now. Ten years ago the name of Jesus, for example, was dropped from all the public school history books. During the last few years the name of God has been dropped from many governmental documents. Today, the Democrats are working feverishly to obliterate Christmas. Even a Christmas tree is now a "holiday tree." In short, all religious names are being outlawed. So it is not only that the US is now a secular country, but the Democrats would like to wipe out the history of Christianity from the US. Where this will lead to, nobody knows.
Therefore, it appears that Obama is a reflection of America and the Democratic Party is the representation of the American people. Could all this transformation have taken place in only one hour? Obama took the oath of office with his hand on the Lincoln Bible (KJV of 1611) and then later asked Chief Justice Roberts to swear him in privately in the White House without the use of a Bible. An official photograph was issued by the White House to attest to this fact. In one hour, the power was given to Obama and Obama completely transformed America into a non-Christian country.
