It's Crying Time Again

The GOP let Michael Steele go today. This was a stupid move on their part, but the Republicans had been drifting away from their core values for some time. Michael Steele gave them the House victory last November, but now the Party has forgotten that. They think they can pick up the ball where he left off. Michael Steele was the first Black Chairman of the Party. He was practically the only Black Republican leader who did not stab John McCain in the back in the last election. Without Michael Steele, the Tea Party is going to drag the Republican Party into the rat hole in the dungeon of Godless capitalism and fascist politics.

Michael Steele is the only Republican who saw that the war in Afghanistan is total madness. Since there is no victory in sight (that's why General McChrystal deliberately got himself fired); the Democrat policy in Afghanistan is to lose and get out so Bush could be blamed for fighting terrorism. The American soldiers are treated as expendables and the Afghanistan people are sacrificed like sheep in a meaningless war. In the Presidential debates of 2007, McCain said, "I will catch Osama and bring him to justice." Obama bettered him one, "I will kill Osama." Nobody talks about Osama anymore, so what are American troops doing in Afghanistan? All the Afghanis want to do is fly kites and maybe grow some opium, so what business is that of ours? Michael Steele was right. He said bring the American troops home and stop the bleeding. The Party didn't like that, so they fired him, and now there will be no one to say that anymore. The Nobel Peace Prize should have been given to Michael Steele and not to Obama, who continues to get Americans killed in Afghanistan.
