Then they pierced his side with a lance to make sure he was dead, and seeing that he was dead they rested in peace -- the peace that they would have now that he was dead, or they thought they would. What kind of peace is that?
It is ironic to see how the peace award designated by Nobel, the inventor of dynamite, would go to a man who carries the torch for the enemies of the Messiah, the atheists, the secular humanists and the self-righteous of this world. The prize has been turned over to be given by a surviving Christian nation to take off the stigma that Sweden did not become an ally during WW II and harbored the Nazis to the end of the war. An embarrassment to the conservative Christians of Norway, the prize is given from Oslo under the scrutiny of the old secular humanists in Stockholm.
Obama was flattered by the award for peace, even as he had betrayed his Muslim principles; he could not very well turn it down, but now he was caught and made the appropriate speech, extolling the virtues of Islam in its ultimate hope for peace, after the final victory, no doubt. So Obama bit the bullet and read the speech of the universal faith prepared for him by the leaders of the Democrats who now run NATO. Even the Republican atheists cheered Obama’s return to the fold. Obama is after all half Irish Catholic; blood does not turn to water.
Obama was so disturbed by this entrapment that he refused to attend the luncheon prepared for him by the King of Norway. They might have served him pork.
How could the aborigines of this world think they are going to be forgiven the genocide of Eastern Christianity from the time of the Crusades in Jerusalem, the genocide of the Native Americans, the genocide of millions of Jews and the innocent people of this world? There are no peace awards great enough to do the job, just as there is no honor great enough to overcome the pain and suffering of the Africans who were caught like animals by the Arab slave traders, bought and shipped by the white man and worked to death in America like slaves.
All these atrocities were committed in the name of justifiable war. There are no awards to justify the murder of genuine believers in the world no matter how the labels are switched. Obama sensed the machinations of the award givers and accepted it with harsh words to those that think he is a puppet and a fool.
They can now go and cackle like hyenas in their lairs; Obama will get even with them someday and maybe even have the last laugh.
