Civilization vs. Freedom

Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast

In his speech, Obama said, "When I talk about shared responsibility, it's because I genuinely believe that in a time when many folks are struggling and at a time when we have enormous deficits, it's hard for me to ask seniors on a fixed income or young people with student loans or middle-class families who can barely pay the bills to shoulder the burden alone; but for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus' teaching that, for unto whom much is given, much shall be required."

At one point, when Eashoa (Jesus) was with His Disciples, His disciple John came to him and said, "My Lord, we saw a man casting out demons in your name and we stopped him, so he would not imitate us." (Mark 9:38)

Eashoa said to them, "Do not stop him, for there is no one who performs powers in my name that can immediately turn around and speak evil against me. Whoever is thus not against me, is on your side." (Mark 9:39-40)

With not a single Republican candidate uttering the name of Eashoa (Jesus), I was simply amazed that Obama was the first one to quote Eashoa (Jesus) and on top of it speak as a Christian -- regardless of the political import of his words.

The Florida Primary is over. Romney beat Gingrich. Santorum and Paul left town early because Florida is a winner take all state; that is, Romney takes all the delegate votes, even though he won with 46% to Gingrich's 32% of the votes. This is not a healthy process for democracy; the delegates should be divided proportionately between the candidates according to the number of votes they received. This is different from the electoral college system, because in the national election you don't want the big states decide who will be president. Here, on a state level, it should be an even playing field for the candidates, because they're going to the convention and the candidate with the biggest number of votes should become the nominee of the party, not the candidate with the biggest number of winner-take all state delegates.

So now Romney is said to have the psychological advantage -- having won two states. He has the biggest number of votes in the first four contests. Florida has twice the number of delegate votes of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina combined. The winning candidate will need over a thousand votes before the convention if he is to be the nominee of the party, so it's still not over. That's why the other three candidates are still campaigning.

The numbers of people voting in the Florida Primary were down compared to the last two elections. That shows Republicans aren't very confident of winning the Presidency with the present roster of candidates. They went for Romney over Gingrich because they thought Romney would do a better job -- if he wins; but they don't think he will win, so there is a bit of contradiction there. This shows that the people of Florida are going to vote for Obama again, as they did in the election of 2008. So it's futile for the party to go on spending millions of dollars only to end up losing the election. Still they must go on, because what else are they going to do? So, maybe they should pray for a miracle.

The Republican Party is badly advised. The stakes are high; the US is in dire straits, not just economically but also morally. The situation is much worse than is being imagined. The candidates are stressing the fact that America is capable of rising again. That's natural for them to say. Of course, they will say that, otherwise they don't stand a chance of winning. However, it won't matter if they're not going to win. The country has slipped away and is headed for the kind of transformation that could not be foretold a few years ago. It's just like when the Soviet Union collapsed.

Only this time it's much bigger than the collapse of the Soviet Union; the US is a much bigger surprise. It's more like the fall of Babylon as described in the Book of Revelation. The fall of the US will be due to its moral decline. The election of Obama signaled the impending collapse because within an hour of his getting elected he declared that the US was not a Christian Country and that the US had never been a Christian Country, and no one in the three branches of government said anything. In other words, they all agreed. This fact cannot be denied because there is a Creator and He knows what's in people's hearts.

The four Republican candidates aren't Evangelical Christians. Ron Paul is the only one who came from an Evangelical Church; but he said in the last debate that if he were the President, being a Christian would only mean that he would act morally. However, it was clear that he was not a committed Christian. Without a personal relationship with Jesus, Christianity doesn't mean much.

Obama said that he was Christian also; but as soon as he was elected, he stopped saying it. In fact, he doesn't even say "Merry Christmas" publicly anymore. He abolished the Day of Prayer as of the first time it came up, and he has even been observing Islamic holidays in the White House ever since then. It will be interesting to see what Obama will do if he gets elected to another term. He may revert back to Islam. There is no law against it. Freedom of religion means that. A man, even if he's the President, may adopt any religion he wishes. Islam has been welcomed in the family of religions by the US. Obama mentioned the three monotheistic religions again in the last State of the Union message.

The reason why I support Santorum, though he is a Catholic, is that he's a man who is committed to Christianity, and that even though he doesn't understand the Apostolic doctrines of Christianity, he acts with compassion toward everyone -- I have noticed this, and a lot of people have noticed it. However, the "separation of church and state" idea has penetrated deep into the American psyche, and now people are reluctant to express their faith openly. In some places it's against the law to do it.

I don't know what are the chances for Santorum to become President; but if he were to become the President, at least the denigration of Christianity would end in the US. With Romney, Gingrich and Paul, Christianity would not play a role in the policies of the United States. For them freedom of religion means that all religions should be respected, and that would be the extent of it. Romney even has begun to campaign with that concept of Christianity. He outlined it in his speech before the Florida Primary began. America under Romney, Gingrich or Paul would be the same as under Obama; from a Christian perspective there is no difference. Essentially, the US would continue in the path of secular humanism, which is the same as atheism.

American Christians are in denial; Christianity is already under persecution. I was surprised that Gingrich mentioned this in one of his recent Florida speeches. Many American Christians are aware of it too, but what's to be done about it? Most voters don't care about this issue. Even the Tea Party movement doesn't talk about it. It's all about jobs and the economy. What people don't realize is that jobs and economy aren't going to fix this nation. It will take a miracle. We should pray for a miracle -- those of us who believe in miracles anyway.

Rick Santorum mentioned Christ at the Florida debate. I was amazed that finally a Republican candidate said something about Jesus. This is very significant; maybe there is hope. Here is Santorum's website. I'm supporting him.

[Rick Santorum for President]

Searching for the soul of America

This is becoming a popular phrase with reporters; the Republican Party is searching for its soul. The people are getting bored with politicians; they might just decide to keep Obama in the White House. What are the alternatives? Gingrich? All he talks about is Ronald Reagan. Romney? Is a Mormon capitalist going to put more Americans back to work? Santorum? Yes, a decent man, but do Americans want a moral leader? Ron Paul? He will strip down the government and perhaps return us to the horse and buggy days. What about some other candidates whom we haven't considered? Well, the search goes on.

The last Republican candidates' debate was on Monday, Jan. 23rd, 2012. It came and went. The candidates reiterated their policies. Romney and Gingrich seem to draw the most attention. They're the highest in the polls and looks like they'll hijack the nomination by sheer volume of hubris. Obama can't be very worried. In fact, in his State of the Union message a couple of days ago, he turned everything the candidates have been saying inside out. Nobody knows where Obama stands now. He encompasses both the pros and cons of every issue. He seems to be saying the same thing as the Republicans; but somehow he's also representing what the Democrats want. Frankly, it all sounds like double talk to me.

In the end, it will all depend on the Republican National Convention. If there is an open convention, where no candidate has the necessary number of delegate votes to win the nomination, it might be possible to really expose the soul of America.

At this point, the Republican Party seems to be adrift, somewhere between Abraham Lincoln and Robert Lee.

The Post-Christian Society in Action

We're essentially living in a post-Christian society. The US government used to maintain a moral outlook toward its citizens. Government used to present itself as the picture of honesty. Today, nobody believes in the image of government as a benevolent organism. Fifty years ago, the young generation were shocked by the appearance of the police state. Then a decade later nobody talked about the police state, the military-industrial complex or the establishment. But the 60s cynicism is now the norm. Perhaps Obama best exemplifies the mood of this new generation. He instinctively makes the assumption that the majority of Americans don't believe in wars. They might not want to vote for him because he's a leftist, but then what choice do they have? He's at least a Democrat and will continue the entitlements and social programs. It's not a socialist thing, just an acceptance of reality. Gingrich talks of assassinations of dictators and covert actions. Obama is already doing that -- well, it's not that Obama is doing it, but the covert operators, that have burrowed their way into the intelligence community since America entered into the Post-Christian Era, don't know any other way to operate. All that's left now is to see which way the wind blows this summer.

Jan. 24, 2012

The South Carolina Primary was a disaster for the Evangelical Christians; never before were they so fickle. They pledged their support for Santorum because he represented their views on morality and then they ended up voting for Gingrich and Romney. The Republican Party had shed its evangelical candidates already. In fact, religion doesn't seem to play a part in this election. Obama will never have to say whether he is a Christian or not this time around, because none of the Republican candidates have any bragging rights on that score. This is going to be Obama's legacy; he single-handedly obliterated the three areas of prejudice in America: race, religion, and place of origin. There are no more requirements, anybody can be President now. This is what America was supposed to be: the land of freedom and opportunity.

As for the US foreign policy, the US intelligence system will continue to brief the President, whoever he might be, and the government will safeguard the interests of all Americans regardless of party affiliation.

And the economy will eventually improve regardless of which candidate sits in the White House in the future. America's financial wizards have always endeavored to make America the magnet for money. We will all survive somehow; everybody's got to eat.

The Cornhuskers of Iowa Caucus

It was at once like being on another planet and a farmer on a cornfield. What were they thinking when they gave a small fraction of the vote to Michele Bachmann; wasn't she their native daughter? Well, they couldn't have been honest with her when they sat with her in the little cafes and discussed politics. The Iowans must be also concerned with world affairs; they can't be so much concerned about the economy, their unemployment is at 5.7%! So what was it?

Iowa is, after all, the first in the nation to declare its support for a candidate. In the past they have come out for Mike Huckabee and Barrack Obama -- such different candidates too; I mean they must be informed about world affairs. For heaven's sake, the state that decides the future of America (and in fact, the whole world), must be aware of all that takes place in the Middle East, they must know about China's economic progress, the Iranian intentions of what to do about the drone that flew over Iran, the Arab Spring and its affect on the security of Israel, and all the rest. They must be aware of everything to make such a careful assessment of the candidates for the Presidency of the United States!

Well, but the Iowans are people too; they are Americans just like us and everybody else. There are a lot of Catholics in Iowa too, there must be, because they voted for Rick Santorum. The Surging Santorum shook a lot of hands and told the Iowans what they wanted to hear. Being Catholic, he was able to stress the fact that he is for life, and his decency and compassion are phenomenal, nobody can deny that. Rick would make a great proactive President. He may take the country to a new high in morality.

The Iowans also gave Mitt Romney a big boost. They must have a lot of Mormons in Iowa also. Mitt Romney may end up being our President because of the extra eight votes the State GOP gave him to edge out the penniless Santorum. It's no secret that the GOP is supporting Mitt Romney; all the big guns are out to support the Mormon this time. They must be thinking, at least he's a Patriot -- because he is not technically a Christian. Did you know that Mormons don't believe that Jesus came to Jerusalem and died there? They don't. They believe that Jesus came to America and preached to the Native Americans -- this is, of course, two thousand years ago (they don't dispute the date), but they don't say that there were no White Americans on the continent at that time; Columbus didn't discover America until 1492. So what were they thinking when they voted so enthusiastically for Mitt Romney?

Ignoring Newt Gingrich, I can understand; he's not the most charming of candidates. He's just too serious, and he thinks he knows everything, on account of being a professor and all. But he's a Catholic also, so why did all the Catholics vote for Rick Santorum? Oh, I know, Gingrich has had a spotted history as a married man; but he's very knowledgeable and knows how to be President. He might have even survived the barrage that Obama would have thrown at him during the debates. Still they gave Newt the forth spot behind the amazing Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is definitely the most outlandish American candidate for the Presidency. His lack of concern for Israel's safety is outrageous. Michele Bachmann pointed out correctly that he's dangerous! She stretched the word "dangerous" so far that one could hear her Midwestern twang. Ron Paul is a Libertarian; there must be a lot of Libertarians in Iowa, because he came in with a respectable 21% of the vote. That was truly impressive for a man who went against most of the current Republican ideals. Ron Paul has said that he will axe five of the major departments of government. He will truly shrink down the government, and in one fell swoop, he will balance the budget -- never mind where the chips will fall. We might have some hardships, but it has to be done, because we're so bankrupt!

Then there's Rick Perry, the gentleman from Texas. He truly is. I can see Rick Perry as President. He has the stature and the bearing of a man who would be President. He even has the humility and the compassion of a great leader. I could see myself voting for Rick Perry. Iowa gave him only 13% of the vote, but then he didn't court them the way Santorum did and the way Romney spent money on them. Nevertheless, Rick Perry is a personal Christian, an evangelical Christian from the mainstream of American Christianity. What happened to the Evangelical Vote? Maybe there aren't that many evangelical Christians in Iowa, after all? Or they just decided that it was all hopeless anyway. It could be that they are just too tired of voting for Christian candidates and seeing them defeated by the secular Democrats? It would seem that way. I mean, we have a President who is deathly afraid of mentioning the name of Jesus.

But why should Michele Bachmann have received so few votes, didn't she tour the ninety-nine precincts of Iowa? Why did Iowa treat Michele Bachmann like she were a stranger, wasn't she one of them, born and raised there? For the life of me, I will never understand why Michele Bachmann didn't do better in Iowa. I feel terrible that she backed out of the race. What happened to the titanium spine? Did she decide to let the big dogs fight it out? She wouldn't have enjoyed calling them all liars! Well, she called Ron Paul very dangerous! I could understand that because she did spend time working in a kibbutz in Israel, so maybe in the final analysis, Michele Bachmann was perceived as a supporter of Israel. Well, they all claim to support Israel; but she's the only one who would put her money where her mouth is and do something to safeguard Israel.

I think, ultimately, it was Michele Bachmann's support of Israel that knocked her out of the running. Not just Iowa, but the mood of the whole country is anti-Israel. This is my read on American politics; Americans have decided that Israel is no longer their responsibility. They will give her lip service, but they won't go out and fight for her. Israel is, for the first time since 1948, without an American ally. Yes, the UN reps will make a fine case for her, maybe even veto a resolution here and there; but they're not going to make it a matter of national importance. This is an issue the Iowa caucuses finally resolved for American Policy. This is why, I think, Michele Bachmann was removed from the line-up.

It's not clear where America is headed for, with its Republican politicians joining forces with the Secular Democrats; the US is now a nation fighting for its identity. Are they going to even remain Christian? Well, they will remain some kind of Christian, as all American politicians are now deathly afraid of uttering the name of Jesus. So it might be a form of Christianity where the name of Jesus is never mentioned publicly. They will only say, "God bless you and God bless America." But then Obama also says that.

It really doesn't seem to matter anymore if Christianity will survive in America and whether or not the President is a Christian. As for women, Americans are afraid of women as leaders on a national scale. Perhaps, Michele Bachmann spared herself and her family the pain of being brutally attacked by the politicians, who must now fight like dogs to get into the White House. It's really not a place for a woman like Michele Bachmann ... I just wanted to hear her say "Jesus" once; but that will have to wait for another election. It would've made a big difference too, because I really believe all it takes is for one candidate to say it and there would be a miracle; the US would get back on track.

Democracy at Work

It's easy to get frustrated when things don't work the way we want them to. But this is how democracy works. We can't all get our way with everything. So let's look at the bright side.

When we vote a man into the White House, he does what's best for himself and for his country. A man doesn't know the inside scoop when he is running for President; but when he gets in, all kinds of advisers, the pentagon and all the government agencies are at his beck and call. They tell him everything he's supposed to know. Then he makes "informed" decisions regarding the economy of the country and the foreign policy.

The economy of a country is determined by what the people do, what they attempt and what they accomplish. Some things work out, others don't. The President isn't responsible for that. He encourages the people to go out there and work for what they want. Obama has done that. If the bankers don't want to lend money, that's their prerogative. If the wealthy people don't want to invest in their companies or hire new workers (for whatever reason), they have the right not to do so. Obama has done everything he can to stimulate the economy. He can't force people to spend money.

On foreign policy, a President reflects what the people want. Sometimes the people want to fight, other times they don't. They voted for George H. W. Bush. Bush decided to free Kuwait from the occupation of Saddam Hussein. Then the people voted him out because he did that. The people have the right to change their minds. Then they elected Bill Clinton. President Clinton was a pacifist. He didn't listen to the military advisers. He allowed Saddam Hussein to remain in power for eight years. The people could have voted him out after four years, but they didn't. So the people decided that they wanted the US policy to remain the same. Then the people decided to elect George W. Bush. Right away, the enemies of America attacked the US. The Twin Towers of the Trade Center and the Pentagon were attacked. George W. Bush attacked the enemies of America on their own soil. He also decided to get rid of Saddam Hussein and liberate Iraq. The American people supported the President, so they voted for him again. George W. Bush did what the people wanted; but the people changed their minds toward the end of his presidency.

Then the people decided to elect Barrack Hussein Obama, Jr. Obama inherited a country that had been devastated by the choices Americans had made. They had made shambles of the economy. They had borrowed more money than they had the right to (according to sound economic principles.) But in a democracy, the people get to decide what their rights are. They have the right to go beyond their rights, and of course they suffered the consequences. But it was they that decided to ruin their economy. Nobody forced them.

The people get to choose their representatives in Congress. The people did a terrible job of choosing their representatives. They elected too many career politicians, too many lawyers and accountants. These people do their best, according to what they have been taught. They destroyed the economy of their own country and set the horrible foreign policies that Obama must now deal with. Sometimes we have to own up to our own mistakes. We elected these politicians to be our representatives. We should have elected ordinary citizens with interests that matched our own; that's how democracy should work.

Now Obama is doing exactly what the majority of the American people wanted. This is a democracy. This is how democracy works. We can't blame Obama for this and that. He listens to the people's voice, and the people tell him different things everyday.

We knew what Obama was: he comes from a broken home, but he has a lot of courage to do what he believes is right. He learned from his grandparents to be resilient. He overcame the prejudice of many people. At Harvard he was elected the head of the debating club. He was well regarded by his friends. He was willing to listen and do what the rules say. He has always listened and done what he was supposed to do. If some people are criticizing Obama today, it's because it's election time and everybody wants to become President and run the country his own way. This is democracy at work. If the people want somebody else to be President, they should elect him.[woman with the club]

Personally, I'm voting for Michele Bachmann. I'm tired of being led by men. I think women are more compassionate. Michele Bachmann will take better care of the elderly, the children, the women, the farmers, the workers -- in short, everyone. This is the nature of women. They are better at nurturing and loving. Americans should vote more women into office. Let's have a more friendly country. The whole world will celebrate our choice. Let us put down our club and let the woman carry it for us for a while. If we don't like it after four years, we can go back to electing only men. But I really think Michele Bachmann was destined to be the first woman President.

Iowa, here is your chance to make history. Rise up from your sleepy villages and towns and let your voices be heard. You may never have another chance in history to make a difference. This is your destiny, being the first to set the ball in motion in Presidential elections. Michele Bachmann is your native daughter; if you don't support her, who will you support? None of the other candidates have a clue what it is to be Iowan. The burden is on your shoulders now, the ball is in your court, you're the ones who can get the fat out of the fire, grab the bull by the horns -- you can help yourselves, your country and the world become a better place. Vote for Michele Bachman or forever hold your piece.

IT WILL TAKE A MIRACLE

Miracles do happen. America may still recover after abandoning their faith in Jesus during the last presidential election. Even if one American invokes the name of Eashoa (Jesus,) the Lord shall spare America. Americans are suffering now. They are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus in a few days. Some of them can't even mention the name of Jesus publicly during this holiday season. However, the Lord is forgiving and He sees their faith, and He shall deliver them regardless of how their presidential candidates act.

So far not one candidate for President has declared his or her faith in Jesus openly. There are a few who are running as Christians, namely Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum. But it's one thing to run as Christians and another to invoke the name of Eashoa (Jesus) publicly. It takes guts to do so, and the Lord Himself will enter the arena and perform the miracle that America needs, to return the nation to the Faith of the Apostles.

Should this happen, the Lord is not going to allow Obama to make a mockery of America's Christian tradition. Obama will have to decide whether to run as a Christian again or to declare himself a secular candidate. It will take a miracle for Obama to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, but the Lord can perform this miracle. If Obama chooses to spurn the Lord, he will invoke the wrath of the lamb slain before the foundations of the universe. No one can escape that wrath; it is the wrath that brings with it the second death on Judgment Day.

This is why it will take a miracle, and miracles do happen. Nations that were massacred rise again. Look at the Jewish people, who were murdered by the so-called Christians during the genocide of the mid-20th Century. American Christianity can be restored again -- not the phony Christianity; but a new form of Christianity, a Christianity based on the original Scriptures, the Scriptures that have been denied by the Western churches, mistranslated and ascribed to a Greek origin. One example of the Scriptures that have finally emerged are the Dead Sea Scrolls. They are now posted by Google as the Dead Sea Scrolls Project Online.

The Ancient Aramaic Scriptures have always existed. Most of the Eastern Churches still have copies of them. They have been continuously preserved and passed on by the Aramaic speaking peoples for two thousand years. Their revelation is another miracle in the making.

All it will take is for one candidate to declare their faith in Jesus and the victory will be theirs, and their victory will be a blessing for all Americans. Make Christmas special this year; declare your faith in Eashoa (Jesus) without fear.

America's Moral Vacuum is not of Obama's Making

The American people end up choosing a President who reflects their fears. Obama saw the moral vacuum in American society and went for an end run that got him into the White House. It was no small matter, this intuition, and it's no doubt that he saw for the first time in America's history that the American people had stopped believing in religion. The candidates didn't even bother stating their particular faith; almost nobody cared whether they were Mormon, Catholic or Protestant. Obama, saw it and he understood that Christianity had lost its appeal as a religion. He declared himself "a Christian" just to be safe, or perhaps to avoid controversy. However, what he did not anticipate was that his being raised a Muslim rang a chord with millions of disgruntled Americans and others who had been given a raw deal (such as the Mexican Americans). It was such a chord too that it deafened the electorate. The marginally Christian voters were completely oblivious to what Obama had uncovered. Some even voted for him because he said that he was a Christian.

What was amazing is that John McCain was your average Christians also; but all those millions of people who voted for him were not voting for him because he was a Christian. They voted for him because he was a war hero and a loyal American. If McCain had run as an evangelical Christian, he would have stood a much better chance of defeating Obama. But those many more millions who voted for Obama were voting for something totally different. They voted for Obama because Obama represented them. What nobody seems to understand is that regardless of how Obama performs, he is still the man who represents the majority of Americans. He represents them as a lion is king of the jungle. He comes from them and is of the same mindset, whether they think so or not.

Today, the primaries haven't even started and already the media are picking who are the front runners in the Republican block, who has a chance and who doesn't have a snowflake's chance in hell. The modern media knows such things. But what they don't know is how this election is going to turn out, because they don't know that America's secularism is steeped in the moral vacuum of a society that no longer believes in a Creator.

Americans now predominantly believe in evolution and science. Evolution means that they don't believe in the Creator described in the Bible and science means that they don't believe in Jesus. Because according to Darwin, the human species evolved from single celled organisms without an omniscient Creator, and according to American universities, man became a phenomenal success because of his opposable thumbs; man could touch his thumb to his small finger and, therefore, exercise such delicate touch that he could invent anything and thus became so prolific as to cure diseases and fly in the air on wings of steel, etc.

The hapless Republican candidates have been brow-beaten. Now they don't dare to breath a word about being Christian. And what brand of Christianity are they? Nobody cares, so why talk about it. Moreover, the majority of Americans now hate Christianity; they see Christianity as the source of all their pain. Such are the economic hardships that we face today that we don't want to talk about Jesus feeding five thousand people with three pieces of bread and two fish. Americans don't want to hear any more fish stories.

This hatred for Jesus was something that He foresaw. In Matthew 10:22, Jesus said, "And you will be hated by every human being because of my name." But He added, "Those who believe until the end, shall live the eternal life."

In Mark 13:13, Jesus said, "And you will be hated by all kinds of people, because of my name. Whoever remains faithful until the end, however, shall live forever."

In Luke 21:17-19, Jesus said, "And you will be hated by every person because of my name. However, grace shall never desert you. By the hope that you proffer, then, you shall earn your salvation."

In John 15:18-19, Jesus said, "And if the world hates you, remember that they hated me first. And if you were of the world, then the world would have been kind to me, as you are. Except you are not of this world; but because I chose you out from this world, the world hates you."

In Acts 5:41-42, it says, when the disciples were thrown out of the temple in Jerusalem for preaching about Jesus, (after He was resurrected), "And they went out from there, delighted that they were worthy to be chastised for the sake of His name. And they did not rest from teaching every day at the temple and at home, and to preach the faith in Lord Eashoa the Messiah."

So it is well established in the Four Gospels and the Book of Acts that not only Jesus was hated by the majority of the people, but that His followers would be hated as well, and that by their persistence they would be justified.

In the coming election, the Presidential Election of 2012, the Republican Party better get its act together. There is no point in winning the Presidency if they are going to be another secular party. We already have a secular party. It's called the Democrats. They cater to everyone, regardless of what religion they believe or what ideology they espouse. They are the eternal liberals, dedicated to winning the seat of power in the greatest empire that the world has known. They think that they understand this world, where it came from and where it's going, because they vote for everything, so it's fair. In fairness they excel. So much so that they want to make everything fair ... for everybody -- as long as they vote Democratic.

If you're a Republican candidate you have one option: represent the American Christians. And in doing so, you will be representing America's best hope of returning to grace. If you're worried that you might not win, don't run at all. You have already been defeated by those people who hate Jesus.

You see, the people who don't believe in Jesus are not concerned with American grace. They are going to vote for Obama, because Obama speaks their lingo. When he speaks they hear him. When he promises them something, it is what they want. When he urges them to go out there and make a difference, they are the difference. Those people who will vote for Obama, don't believe that there is a moral vacuum. They believe that morality stems from their hopes and dreams. They think that morality changes with the times and with who's doing what; they don't understand that morality comes from the doctrines recorded in the Scriptures.

The Republicans are holding debates and soon will compete in the primaries. With this process they are trying to reveal their policies in how they will represent the people. The Republican candidates should consider declaring their faith in Jesus, because then everybody will know that they are not going to govern out of a moral vacuum.

The Christian doctrines spoken of by Jesus are known to have made America a great country. There is no need to wallow in this moral vacuum that has enveloped America for decades. We all know that Jesus was a great teacher, so why don't we listen to Him now? His words are recorded in the Scriptures. They are attested to by historians both religious and secular. Jesus is a historical figure. Whatever one may think of Him, he did walk the earth and He was killed because of his beliefs. We shared those beliefs for two hundred years. Why are we departing from something that has worked for so long?

We need to consider a Candidate's faith when we vote. Right now Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry are the only Christians running as Christians. Mitt Romney and John Huntsman are running as Mormons. Newt Gingrich is running as a Catholic. Herman Cain was running as a Christian also. Rick Santorum is an evangelical Catholic, and Ron Paul was raised as a Lutheran. Michele Bachmann strikes me as the one who will most likely allow her faith to temper her Presidency. This is the best hope for returning the US back to its original promise.

Ok, let it be clear then. Debating the issues is fine, but don't let the media line you up like ducks in a shooting gallery. And, for heaven's sake, stop attacking each other. Obama can be defeated; but choose someone who knows what to do as President, and someone who isn't afraid of saying, "Merry Christmas." Because if someone is afraid of saying, "Merry Christmas," they will be afraid of saying "Happy Hanukah" also. They will be afraid of protecting the rights of the majority because they're afraid that the minorities will complain. There should be no majorities and minorities in a pluralistic society. The majority or the minority are a matter of how the voting goes.

The Republican Primaries are fast approaching. The Party needs to get back to its roots: preserving American Values. These values are America's Christian Heritage, putting the Bible ahead of the Constitution, and the people ahead of the politicians. They are not smaller government and controlling spending. Smaller government sounds like you don't want America to be great again. Controlling spending sounds like you want to defraud the Social Security recipients. This is negative thinking. What you mean is more representative government and more responsible allocations of funding. Stop repeating old political slogans: Ronald Reagan said this, Abraham Lincoln said that; the real issues are neither economic nor racial.

The reason American businessmen aren't hiring or growing their businesses isn't because there is no demand for products or high taxation (yes, these issues matter); the real issues are lack of faith in leadership ... or rather lack of faith of the leadership. Select the nominee who isn't afraid of saying, "Jesus." Because in the end that's all that matters. It's better to lose with Jesus than to win with Satan.

Michele Bachmann[Michele Bachmann for President]

I like a candidate who ends her speeches with, "I love you all!" Michele Bachmann is going to make a terrific President. Let's give this tough woman a chance to serve her country. Other advanced societies have elected woman prime ministers and leaders, why not us?

Enough of Obama and his Muslim leanings. The US is a predominantly Christian culture, let the majority enjoy a bit of fresh air also. Michele Bachmann is a Conservative and well in line with the Republican Party's platform. She will be able to deal with America's economic problems in a more humane way than the other candidates.

I don't know about you, but I'm going to support her for the nomination.

A Note
Although history is cyclical, human life is linear. History repeats itself, but a human life is unique and is lived one day at a time and moment by moment to the very end.

Life changes as it is being lived and an individual's opinions are formed based on the situations one experiences. Perceptions of success or failure, illness or accident, opportunities or obstacles -- all these affect the conclusions an individual forms.

My opinions have therefore changed, and the four directories I have posted, on an ongoing basis, since the beginning of the Internet Age, have changed and evolved. There is not enough time in the world to rewrite everything, and there is no point in doing so.

My articles, essays and notes are left here as they were originally conceived. Take them for what they are worth. Three books were published based on them.
