The darkest hour is nearest to dawn.

[US flag is waving]

From a Christian perspective, it is possible to find peace even in this new century, which promises to be bloodier than the last. Three months after the insane attack against the United States by Third World terrorists, the American people are transforming their society to prepare themselves for the onslaught of evil against all they have achieved in the last two hundred years.

Religious intolerance and racism have struck again, but the great American experiment has already been achieved. People from all over the world have been molded into a unique culture that thrives on freedom. The defense of this culture is now upon a generation that is ready to define its values according to the foresight of their founding fathers. The Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights take on a deeper meaning. The US flag and the Oath of Allegiance are the banner and the commitment of this nation to rise out of its complacency. The world is truly too small for the US to remain in isolation. Terrorism is like a cancer in its early stages. Surgery and fervent prayer are called for. Let the operation proceed.
