This is one time when changing the rules of the game does not work. When the game is lost, the losing team is not permitted to change the rules, even if it is to extend the game period. It is over.
Abraham Lincoln said, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time."
They can try though; they can sure try. But there is a God. God cannot be fooled.
