Celebrating the Resurrection of Eashoa Msheekha (Jesus the Messiah)

This is the first Easter celebration for American Christians after Obama's rise to power. I still cannot believe that Obama stood in front of the Turkish Parliament last week and declared that the US is not a Christian Country.

In fact, on the day the American voters elected Obama as President, the US ceased to be a Christian Country. However, this journey into oblivion began in the mid-1960s when the case to outlaw prayer in public schools was initiated by the atheist enemies of America. Then in the early 1970s, the Supreme Court ruled that prayer in public schools was unconstitutional.

Over the last forty years, the atheists and the Anti-Christians have removed the name of Jesus from all official school books published in America. The atheists are working very hard to remove the name of God as well from all public records and ceremonies.

This campaign against Christianity has been spearheaded by the Democratic Party since the days of Thomas Jefferson. It is an effort to make the US a secular country. In the Election of 2008, the Republican Party also abandoned Christianity altogether. None of the candidates mentioned the name of Jesus openly during their campaigns.

So for those of you out there who still believe in Eashoa Msheekha (Jesus the Messiah), allow me to wish you a Happy Easter. In my native Aramaic language, Easter is simply referred to as the Great Feast. In its ancient form this is the language that Eashoa (Jesus) spoke two thousand years ago.

I pray that the Lord Eashoa Msheekha (Jesus the Messiah) may bless you on this day of days. Even though America has rejected Eashoa (Jesus) for the most part, the Lord does not forget the American saints who proclaimed him at the foundation of this great country.

The first two Presidents of the United States, George Washington and John Adams were devout Christians. Many of the Presidents also that followed were deeply Christian. Our last President, George W. Bush, was also a personal Christian and declared Eashoa (Jesus) as his Lord and Savior. American Christians though dwindling in number will continue to be blessed on account of their Christian Presidents.

Happy Easter!
