The Lord gave the Scriptures to the original prophets of the Jewish people. Over the years they interpreted the Scriptures according to their faith. Sometimes they were listened to, other times they were not. More often than not they were not listened to. The Lord wanted his people to learn their lesson, so they would be ready to receive Him when He came to the World.
When Eashoa (Jesus) came, He did not ratify the Scriptures, nor did He write the New Testament Scriptures for His followers. He knew they could not interpret it on their own, so He would have to interpret it for them. Why were the Scriptures written then? They were written so they would be a proof that what He said would always be fulfilled. There is no other purpose for the Scriptures. Sometimes the truth must be told regardless of consequences. Jeremiah did that. Finally Isaiah did that also.
The people would always interpret the Scriptures according to the flesh, because that's their nature. So the human interpretation will always be suspect, even when it follows in detail everything that is recorded in Scriptures.
Then how do we know when it is the Lord's interpretation that we are receiving in our hearts? All the Scriptures were written for the sake of testifying about Eashoa (Jesus). The testimony is true if it says that Eashoa (Jesus) is the prophesied Messiah that all the prophets prophesied about from the beginning to end. We are taught that this is how we test the spirits. This is the critical confession for all humanity.
How do we know that we have accepted Eashoa as the Messiah prophesied by the Scriptures? When we have Him in our hearts we will know it. It is an unmistakable feeling.
This must be a spiritual manifestation; is there any physical proof? Yes. There is knowledge, there is joy, there is healing, there is rebirth, and there is everlasting life. These are real tangible manifestations that no one can deny. You know when you are healed. You were sick, you were near death, then you were suddenly well. Who did the healing? The One who created you; the One who gave you life to begin with.
