Testimony is important in this world. Notice, I say, "In this world."
If you just brag about yourself, nobody believes you; but if someone else brags about you, they will believe you. So say something nice about someone, if you want to help them. And they will say something nice about you, and you will be credible in the eyes of someone you're doing business with or trying to win over.
So don't be afraid to give testimony, when testimony is due. We all need each other sometimes.
Eashoa (Jesus) said regarding Lazarus and the Rich Man, "Even if a man should rise from the dead, they will not believe him." Eashoa (Jesus) didn't only rise from the dead, He gave His life on behalf of humanity, and there are people who still don't believe Him. And that's the way of this world. That's why I said in the beginning, "In this world." Eashoa (Jesus) knew that most people would not believe Him. However, He chose twelve disciples and taught hundreds of apostles, so they would go out and give testimony on His behalf.
In Heaven, Eashoa (Jesus) doesn't need anybody's testimony; He sits on the Throne. But on earth He requires His servants' testimony. This is important for us to realize; we all need testimony. For those who believe and are His Children, the fact that the Father and the Son glorify each other is evident. Nobody needs to testify on their behalf; except for the Holy Spirit, which unites them and makes them Triune.
So, yes, in this world we need each other's testimony.
