Isaiah 66

1. Thus said Maryah*, "Heaven is my throne and earth is the rug [under] my feet;
where is the house you have built for me?
Or where is the country to which you will have me come down?
2. "All these are what my hand made,
and they are mine, all of them," said Maryah,*
"and whom shall I take and [allow] to live,
except for the one who is calm and gentle in spirit,
someone who is moved by my word and my manifestation."
3. "He who slaughters a bull is like the one who kills a man,
he who sacrifices a ram is like the one who kills a dog,
he who offers a wheat offering is like [the one who offers] the blood of a pig,
he who offers frankincense is like [the one who] blesses idols --
they too are guided down their own paths
and their soul is fulfilled by their idols.
4. "I too shall be satisfied with their ferment*
and I shall repay their behavior,
on account of I called and no one replied,
and I spoke and they did not hear,
and they did what is evil before me,
and chose that which I was not pleased with."
5. Listen to Maryah's* instructions,
those of you who are shaking* [on account of] His manifestation*
and say to your brethren, "Your haters shall denigrate you on account of my name;
Maryah* shall be glorified and He shall be glad on account of your joy,
and [those others] shall [be put] to shame.
6. The voice of the instigator from the city,
and the voice from the temple;
His voice, [the voice] of Maryah*
who repays His enemies' recompense.
7. As yet the birther [goes] into labor
and as yet her [labor pains] arrive and the male [heir] is born.
8. Who has heard something like this?
And who has seen such as these things?
That the earth [shall undergo labor pains] in one day
and a nation shall be born in [the same] day,
thus* Zion shall undergo labor pains
and give birth to her children [on the same day.]
9. "I created* this expectation,
and should I not [allow] this birth [to occur]?" said Maryah.*
"Why, was it not I that [allowed this birth to occur,]
yet I am [supposed] to stop it?" said your* Allaha.*
10. "Be glad in Jerusalem and rejoice all you who cherish* her,
smile with her joyfully* all who were in mourning over her.
11. "And you shall imbibe and be satisfied at* her consoling breast,*
and you shall drink and be delighted from the richness of her honor."
12. Because thus said Maryah,*
"Behold, I shall cast upon her the peace like a river
and like a torrent that flows through a gorge,
and they shall imbibe the glory of the nations,
and you shall carry off the abundant [wealth,]
and you shall be seated upon blessings.
13. "Like the man who is consoled by his mother, thus I shall console you,
and by Jerusalem [also] you shall be consoled.
14. "And you shall see and your heart shall be glad,
and your bones shall exult like young shoots,
and Maryah's* hand shall be evident over His servants,
and He shall annihilate His enemies.
15. "Because, behold, Maryah* shall come with fire*
and His chariot shall be like a storm,
and He shall return in the wrath of His anger,
and His cry [shall be] like flames of fire.
16. "Because Maryah* shall judge by Fire
and with it He shall [ascertain the character] of all flesh
and those slain by Maryah* shall be many.
17. "As they bless and bathe in gardens one after another,
[weighed] in the balance,
and as they eat the flesh of pigs, vermin and rats,
like one they shall be eliminated," said Maryah.*
18. "And I know their ways* and their opinions
when I come to gather all nations and tongues,
and they shall indeed come and see my glory.
19. "And I shall consecrate signs among them,
and I shall send to the nations some of them that are redeemed,
to Tarshish, Pul, Lud -- those that were ransomed* by the bow --
and to Tuvil, Yown* and the far away islands --
those that never heard my name and saw my glory --
and they shall reveal* my glory among the nation.
20. "And they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations
as an offering to Maryah,*
on horseback, chariots, and by wagons,
to my holy mountain, to Jerusalem," said Maryah,*
"as the Children of Israel shall bring meal* offerings
in clean vessels to the house of Maryah.*
21. "Also from them I shall sow their priests and the Levites," said Maryah.*
22. "As the new heaven and new earth that I shall create,
that shall stand before me," said Maryah,*
"thus your offspring and your name shall stand."
23. "And they shall go out and see the carcasses of the men who took issue with me,
[the men] whose vengeance shall not die,
nor shall their fire be quenched,
and they shall become a wonder for all flesh."
