Isaiah 52

1. Awaken, awaken, Zion,
and don the garments of glorification;
Jerusalem, O holy city,
because no uncircumcised or* defiled
shall flourish* in you again.
2. Shake the dust from yourself,*
rise and settle down, O Jerusalem,
untie the yoke from your captive neck,
O daughter of Zion.
3. Because thus said the Lord,
"Neither were you sold gratis,
nor were you redeemed by coin."*
4. Because thus said Maryah Allaha,*
and the Ashurayeh* fetched them
without compelling them [to leave.]
5. "And now what is it to me," said the Lord,*
"that I should fetch my people gratis?"
"Their authorities* scoff," said the Lord,*
"and without hesitation blaspheme against my name daily.
6. "Because of that my people shall know my name on that Day,
because it is I that shall speak of it,*
and I always am."*
7. How pleasing [to behold] are the feet of someone
who promises peace and who promises goodness
and who speaks* of salvation;
who says to Zion, "Your* God* [rules as] King."
8. The sounders of your observation towers* raise their voices
and together they glorify, because they want to see the Maryah*
return Zion [to its former glory.]"*
9. Celebrate and glorify together, O Warriors of Jerusalem,
because Maryah* loves His people
and He shall save Jerusalem.
10. The Lord* shall reveal His holy arm
in the sight of all the nations
and there shall see all those who cross the earth
the salvation of our Allaha.*
11. Pass by, pass by, exit from there
and do not go near defilement;
exit from her and be selective,
having taken the vessels of the Lord.*
12. Because you did not leave in a hurry
and you did not go by fleeing before you,
and the God of Israel* shall gather you.
13. "Behold, my servants shall [come to] know
and he shall be raised and uplifted
and placed high above.*
14. "Like many shall [find him] quaint,
likewise many men shall see him as [someone a bit] strange*
and [in like manner] his superficial resemblance* to humanity.
15. "He shall cleanse many nations
and the kings shall keep their mouth shut against Him,
because the mystery* shall not be revealed to them,
so as they may not hear of it and know of it."
