Isaiah 43

1. Now, thus said the Lord --
He fetched you, Jacob, and He chose you, Israel --
"Fear not, for I have saved you
and I have called you by your name,
thus you are mine.
2. "If you cross the sea I am with you,
and the rivers shall not carry you off,
if you walk on fire you shall not be singed,
and its flames shall not burn you.
3. "Because it is I who is your Lord God,*
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior,
I made Egypt pay the price for you,*
and [I gave up] Kush and Sheba on your behalf.*
4. "Ever since you were worthy in my eyes,
you were praised, and I had mercy on you:
I made a man pay the price for you
and exchanged nations for the sake of your soul.*
5. "Do not be afraid, for I am with you,
I brought your offspring from the Rising of the Sun*
and I gathered you from the Setting of the Sun.*
6. "I said to the North, 'Give me,'
and to the South, 'Do not stop.'
I brought my sons from afar
and my daughters from the edges* of the earth."
7. "Whoever calls on my name,* I have created him for glory,
I have formed* him and made him.
8. "I liberated* a blind nation that has eyes --
and they have ears, but* they are dumb."
9. "All the nations shall gather as one*
and the motherlands shall gather;
who is there among you that saw it?
They shall bring their witnesses and become justified;*
they shall hear it and declare it."
10. "In all truth,* you are truly my witnesses," said the Lord,
"and my servants whom I chose;
and you know and believe in me,
and understand that I am He,
and before me no God was created
and after me there will be none.*
11. "I am the Lord,*
and there shall be none after me.
12. "I revealed and I saved,
and there is no stranger among you,
and you are my witnesses," said the Lord,
"and I am the God."*
13. "And also from the first Day it was I,*
and none can escape* my hand --
and that which I do, who can undo it?"*
14. Thus said the Lord, your Holy Savior of Israel,
"On account of you* I sent for Babylon
and brought [back] all the exiles*
and [used] the Chaldeans,
who are equipped* with ships.
15. "I am* the Lord, your Holy One
who created Israel your king."
16. Thus said the Lord,
who provides a way through the ocean
and a path through tumultuous waters.*
17. Who brings out chariots, horsemen and a mighty force,
and as one they succumb and cannot rise,
and they are extinguished like the flickering lamp.
18. "You did not remember the things of old
and you did not learn from the beginning.
19. "Behold, I made it anew,
and now he shall come and you will know him,
and he shall make a way in the wilderness and rivers in vast lands.*
20. The creatures of the wilderness,
the jackals, and the sirens* glorify me
because I gave them water* in the wilderness
and rivers in vast spaces,
so that my chosen people should drink.
21. "The people I chose for myself here did drink.
22. "It was not me that you called on, Jacob,
you whom I called Israel.
23. "You did not bring me the ram of your holocausts
and you did not honor me through your sacrifices;
you were not forced into submission through offerings,
nor offered gifts of frankincense.
24. "You did not buy me the healing reeds* with money,
nor did you make me drunk* with the fat of your sacrifices;
neither were your abominations of any help to me.
25. "It was I* that wiped out your abominations,
for my own sake,
and [it was I] that did not recall your sins.*
26. "Those that I recall, I judge in the same way;*
[confess openly]* so as to be justified.*
27. "Your first father sinned
and your authorities* took issue with me.
28. "Your leaders* defiled that which was hallowed,
[thus] I gave Jacob to curse* and Israel to complain."*

*43:3.1 Lit. Ar. id.: "Inna-nah," or: "I am I."
*43:3.2 Lit. Ar. idiomatic expression: "I gave up Egypt in exchange for you."
*43:3.3 Lit. Ar. idiomatic expression: "Over your faces."
*43:4 Lit. Ar. idiomatic construction: "From honorable you in my eyes [you were] glorified, and I was merciful to you, I gave human on your behalf and motherlands in exchange for your breath."

*43:10.2 NB! This is an extremely critical passage to translate and interpret. Here is where most of Western Christianity has gone astray. This is the Lord Himself speaking in these passages and it should be clear that He is the Lord who did come to the world as Eashoa Msheekhah (Jesus the Messiah).
*43:11 Lit. Ar. id.: "Inna-nah Maryah," or "I am I, the Lord."
*43:12 Lit. Ar. id.: "Allaha."
*43:13.1 Lit. Ar. id.: "Inna-nah," or "I am I."
*43:13.2 Lit. Ar. id.: Or: "Be delivered."
*43:13.3 NB! The Jehovah/Yahweh issue must be settled at this point. Eashoa (Jesus) is the only Manifestation (Milta) of the Creator in human form, or as American Christians are fond of saying, "God in the flesh." Eashoa (Jesus) is not only "God in the flesh"; He is the Creator in the Spirit as well. Only through the Aramaic language it is possible to understand all this. Greek never conveyed it, and, therefore, led to all the translation and doctrinal errors we find in Western Christianity throughout.
*43:14.1 Lit. Ar. id.: "Because of you," or "for your sake."
*43:14.2 Lit. Ar. id.: "Fleers."

*43:25.2 Lit. Ar. idiom retained: "Hold you accountable."
*43:26.1 Lit. Ar. id.: "As one."
*43:26.2 Lit. Ar. id.: "Declare."
*43:26.3 Lit. Ar. id.: "Forgiven."
*43:27 Lit. Ar. id.: Or: "Rulers."
*43:28.1 Lit. Ar. id.: "Rulers."
*43:28.2 Lit. Ar. id.: "Anathemize."
*43:28.3 Lit. Ar. id.: Or: "Criticize."
