Isaiah 19

1. The Fall of Missrin.*
Behold, Maryah* shall ride on the quickly* moving clouds
and He shall enter into Missrin*
and the idols of Missrin shall be shaken before Him,
and the heart of the Missrai* shall whimper inside them.
2. And a Missrayah* shall engage a Missrayah,
and a man shall fight with his brother, and a man against his friend,
a city against a city, and a kingdom against a kingdom.
3. And the spirit of the Missrayah* shall collapse within him
and his counsel shall follow,*
and they shall ask the idols and the magicians,
and the fortunetellers and the seers.
4. "And I shall deliver the Missrayeh* into the hands of the stubborn* Medes,
and a powerful king shall rule over them," said the Almighty Maryah.*
5. And they shall turn the waters brackish [by drawing it] from the sea,
and the river shall be ruined and become foul.
6. And the rivers shall become brackish and depleted [of fish,]
and the great [rivers] shall be ruined;
the reeds, parchment [materials] and papyrus shall rot,
7. And the debris on the river and the mouth of the river
and everything that is planted on the banks of the river
shall [die out,] wither and disappear.
8. And the fishermen shall lament,
and the casters of hooks into the river shall sit weeping,
and the spreaders of the nets over the face of the waters shall get sick,
9. And the cotton workers shall be embarrassed,
those who comb and weave the clothing.
10. And all the hired [workers] shall be humbled,
[those] who work for their own satisfaction.*
11. The great ones* of Zoan* erred,
and the wise men who reported to king Pharaoh [gave] him the wrong information;
how can you say to the Pharaoh that we are wise men and the children of the first kings?
12. Where are your wise men, who might show
and who might know what the Almighty Maryah* counseled regarding Missrin?*
13. The great ones of Zoan have erred,
the great ones of Memphis have exalted themselves,
and they have misled Missrin regarding the cornerstone* of her tribes.
14. Maryah* has mixed inside them the misleading spirit,
and He has made the Missrayah* lose it in all his works,
like the drunkard is lost through his backsliding.
15. And there will be no Missrayah* who will make head or tail of it,
nor tail or head of it.
16. On that Day, the Missrayah* shall be like the women,
he shall be afraid and shaken before the raised hand of the Almighty Maryah,*
that which He shall raise over him.
17. And the land of the Judeans* shall be as a terror for the Missrayah,*
and whoever remembers him shall [do so with] trepidation,
on account of the judgment of the Almighty Maryah,*
that which He [brought down] over him.
18. On that Day, there shall be five cities in the land of Missrin,*
[whose residents] speak in the Canaanite language,
and who swear by the Almighty Maryah,*
and one of them shall be called Harris.*
19. On that Day, there shall be an altar for Maryah Allaha* in the land of Missrin*
and [there shall be] a monument for Maryah* on behalf of its dynasties.*
20. And it shall be for a sign and testimony to the Almighty Maryah* in the Land of Missrin,*
because they shall implore before Maryah* [on account of] their oppressors,
and He shall send them the Savior and Judge,
and He shall deliver them.
21. And Maryah* shall become known to the Missrayeh,*
and on that Day, the Missrayeh* shall offer sacrifices and wheaten
and they shall make vows of [personal dedication]* to Maryah and become adherents.
22. And Maryah* shall strike the Missrayeh* with plagues
and [He shall] discipline them,
and they shall return to Maryah*
and He shall answer them and heal them.
23. On that Day, there shall be an avenue from Missrin* to Ashur* and from Ashur to Missrin,
and the Ashurayah* shall enter Missrin and the Missrayah* to Ashur,
and the Missrayeh* shall work for the Ashurayeh.*
24. On that Day, Israel shall become one of the three,
a blessing to the Missrayeh and the Ashurayeh on the earth.
25. It is to him* that the Almighty Maryah* blessed and said,
"Blessed is my nation in Missrin*
and the work of my hands in Ashur*
and my inheritance Israel.*
