Romans 15

1. Whereas we are responsible as we are strong [in faith,] to alleviate the sicknesses of the weak* and that we should not flatter ourselves.
2. Except our people should confer blessings on our new kinsmen, so as to build them up.
3. Because even Christ was not just praising himself. Except as it is revealed in Scriptures,
"The blame of your blamers, has fallen upon me."
4. For everything that was recorded in Scriptures from the very beginning, was recorded for our edification, so that through the preaching of the hope [of the Kingdom] and the love of Scriptures, we may have hope.
5. Then the God of hope and love, shall make you worthy to regard one another, through Jesus Christ.
6. That you may with one opinion and one expression glorify God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7. Because of this be in communion and tolerate each other, whereas Christ also brought you in communion with the glory of God.
8. Then I say that Jesus Christ ministered to the circumcised on behalf of God's sincerity, whereas he confirmed the reign of the ancestors.
9. And the nations of the world glorified God for the sake of the grace that was shed on them. As is written in Scriptures,

"I will declare you to the nations
...and sing your name."

10. And again [Scripture] says,

The nations rejoiced with his people."

11. And again [Scripture] says,

"Glorify God, all you nations,
He has blessed all motherlands."

12. And again Isaiah said,

"He becomes the root of Jesse,*
and when He rises, he becomes the head of all nations,
and in him shall the nations find hope."

13. God then fills you with hope, complete joy and peace through faith, that you may grow in His hope, through the power of the holy Spirit.

14. I commend you therefore, brethren,* that you also be filled with goodness, and that you adhere to all knowledge, and that you edify others.
15. I have a little more to tell you then earnestly, brethren, whereas I present you with the grace that has been vouchsafed me from God,
16. That I may become a servant of Jesus Christ among the nations and work for the Revelation of the Gospel of God, that the Offering of the nations be acceptable and presented through the holy Spirit.
17. I thus take a pride through Jesus Christ in God.
18. For I do not dare say anything that Christ did not ordain through my hands for the benefit* of the nations through Manifestation and works,
19. Through the power of miracles and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God. Whereas from Jerusalem I went around all the way to Illyricum and spread the hope of Christ.
20. As I endeavored to proffer the hope [of the Kingdom,] I never failed to call on the name of Christ, so as not to build on a foreign foundation.
21. Except whereas it is written in Scriptures,

"Those who were not told about him, shall see him,
And those who did not hear, shall become adherents."

22. Because of this so many seasons have elapsed before I could come to you.
23. Now that I have no place left in these countries and having desired this for many years, I will be coming to you.
24. When I go to Spain preaching [the Kingdom,] I shall come to see you, and you will send me along to there, when I have been with you a while, it will be a great pleasure seeing you.
25. Now I go to Jerusalem to render service to the saints.
26. For those [Christians] who are in Macedonia and Achaia wish to share their blessings* with those poor saints in Jerusalem.
27. They wished so because they are also responsible to do so for them. For if the nations partook with them through the Spirit, they are responsible to serve them also through the flesh.
28. Therefore, when I thus have fulfilled and completed this task, I shall pass by you on my way to Spain.
29. For I know when I come to you, it shall be wholeheartedly through the blessings of the Gospel's Revelation through Jesus Christ that I come.
30. Then I beg you, my brethren, in our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, that you strive with me through prayer to God on my behalf.
31. That I may be delivered from those who do not adhere in Judea, and that the service which I render to the saints in Jerusalem may be perceived well,
32. And that I may come to you joyfully by the will of God and rest among you.
33. The God of Peace then be with all of you, amen.
