As I near the halfway mark in my translation of the Exodus Scripture, it's interesting to note that there are certain aspects of the revelation of Eashoa's coming to the world that were prophesied a lot more clearly than is indicated by modern Christianity. At first it seemed to me as mind-boggling how could the Pharisees, or even today's Judaism, not realize that the Eashoa who came to the world two thousand years ago was indeed the Messiah prophesied by all Scriptures?
This question is best answered by Paul in his Letters. It's clear that just as he was at first blind to the truth about the Messiah Eashoa, that also the Pharisees from whom he came would remain blind until the end. And on the Last Day they, together with modern Judaism, will be re-grafted to the Tree of Life. They will have played the role assigned to them by the very Scriptures that they observed as Law.
I think something similar is happening with modern Christianity, as they refuse to accept the primacy of the Ancient Aramaic Scriptures and the correct designation of the Lord's name.
Eashoa said to the Pharisees that not only do they not go into the temple, but they stand in the way of others who might enter. This I'm beginning to think is the role that organized religion is supposed to play now also.
As I understand it from my translations of the Scriptures, the role of a church is supposed to be in its practice of the faith and its course should be along the unbeaten path. The missionary enterprise should be to spread the Faith in the Messiah Eashoa and not to establish financial empires. I like to see apostolic churches going from town to town and introducing the Ancient Aramaic Scriptures to all the churches in the world. This is the role of a true church, to keep moving and preaching the true Gospel of Eashoa the Messiah and not getting stagnant.
