The Men of Nineveh Recalled

The Scriptures are a powerful source of knowledge to deal with the world and its problems. In this day and age when there are wars and atrocities committed everyday around the world, it is necessary to have a correct translation of what the Lord taught. The various Bible translations made from the Greek and Latin were distorted to serve the interests of the emerging nations in the new world. Jesus neither praised the Greek and Roman philosophers, nor did he praise their cultures. He praised the Men of Nineveh on account of their repentance after Jonah preached to them.

Matthew 12:39-41. He replied and said to them, however, "a wicked and adulterous generation wants signs, and no signs will be given it; except for the sign of Jonah the prophet, for just as Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. The men of Nineveh will rise at Judgment with this generation and hold it accountable, for they repented by the preaching of Jonah, and behold one greater than Jonah is here now."

This translation's accuracy depends on the knowledge of Ancient Aramaic, a language that was originated in Mesopotamia and spoken in Nineveh. The alphabetic form of Ancient Aramaic was invented in Nineveh. The Ninevite and the Galilean are the closest dialects of the Holy Lands. Jesus spoke the Galilean dialect and, therefore, this translation is the best version of what he taught.
