Justification According to Faith

Most Christians I've encountered think that they will be saved through justification by faith. In his ministry, Jesus said to many of the people that he healed, "Your faith has healed you." However, Jesus also said regarding many, "They will be judged according to their works."

I believe that most people will be judged according to their works, because there are so many more people that don't know Jesus through faith. A lot of people think that they do, but the road that leads to salvation is a narrow one and few will find it. That's what the Scripture says.

Billions of people were born before the time of Jesus and billions more will never know about Jesus, so most people will be judged according to their works. God is just; he's not going to send billions of people to hell just because they didn't hear about Jesus or were brought up in cultures where it's a crime to be a Christian.

But even among Christians, those who choose the narrow road are fewer than the ones who choose the broad road.

Jesus also says about the saints, "They will not be subject to the second death." That means, all people die and are subject to the first death, but those who are justified through faith they go straight to heaven. The saints will come with him on Judgment Day and they will not be subject to death a second time, because they will not stand judgment on that Day.

The great majority of Christians, however, will be raised from the dead to be judged just like all the others. They will be judged according to their works, because they didn't possess the faith that leads immediately to life everlasting.

There are many people of different faiths who will go to heaven on Judgment Day, because they did the works that will be found acceptable by the Lord. Most TV evangelists think that all the people who didn't believe in Jesus in this lifetime will perish. I don't think that God is so cruel as to raise people from the dead just to send them all to hell.

Many evangelicals believe that the Bible must be preached to all the world, because at the end there will be no excuse for anyone to claim that they didn't know about Jesus. In this way, they believe that everyone who is judged on Judgment Day will end up going to hell. Furthermore, they believe that if there are any Christians left at the end of the world, they'll have to be raptured, otherwise they'll also end up in hell. This is one view of rapture.

Many people don't understand the value of my translation, because they haven't read it. My translation, made from the original Ancient Aramaic Scriptures, clarifies these issues that have confused both Christians and non-Christians for centuries.

It's our duty as Christians to preach the Bible to the whole world, but we should take care and know the truth about which is the original Bible. We should not be deceived by national pride into thinking that we alone possess the true Scriptures. The pride in being white, gentile or chosen -- this is false pride. Let's study the Scriptures together with an open mind and pray about the truth that the Lord wishes to reveal to us. Let us accept the fact that the Lord wouldn't allow his words to be lost in translation or otherwise.
