Genesis - literal or idiomatic?

Literal interpretation does not mean literal if the language one interprets from is not the same. Therefore, interpreting the Scriptures from English, for example, is not the literal truth. Literal can only be interpreted from the original language. A good translation from the Ancient Aramaic to English should be idiomatic. I have added the literal as well, so the readers can get an insight into the original. This video explains the concept from the opening verses of the Book of Genesis.
