Many otherwise educated people don't understand why God would create such a magnificent universe, billions of stars and planets, and place man on a tiny little planet earth somewhere at the bottom of the Milky Way Galaxy. I think it's for the same reason why God chose a manger for the birth of His Son. In order to appreciate magnificence, man must attain humility. From a small place on earth it's possible to gaze at the stars and marvel at God's creation. Also God created the universe for the sake of His Son before there was time and space. There would be no limit to the extravagance He would lavish on His Son in order to glorify Him. |
