Daniel 12

1. "In that season, the great angel* Michael, who rules* over the children of your nation, shall rise, and it shall be a time of tribulation,* the likes of which there never was since the inception* of the universe, and in that season there will be taken into captivity from your people everyone who was written of in the Scriptures.
2. "And many of those who sleep in the earth shall awaken, those that are [destined] to eternal life* and those that are [destined] to oblivion and the torment of their companions forever.*
3. "And the performers of goodness and wisdom will shine like the light of the firmament, and those that led many to righteousness will cast light rays and rise like stars forever and ever.*
4. "And you, Daniel, conclude these prophesies* and conclude this Scripture regarding the Apocalypse,* [that will lead] many to pray and allow this knowledge to proliferate."
 
5. And I, Daniel, looked and, behold, I saw two others standing there, one on this side* of the river and one on the other.
6. And they said to the man who wore the clothes of honor and who stood above the waters of the river, "how long until this apocalypse?"*
7. And I heard the man -- who wore the clothes of honor, who stood above the waters of the river, who had raised his right and left [hands] to heaven, and who swore by the eternal life,* by the times immemorial and a half* -- [I heard him say] that when the hands of every holy nation have been freed,* then shall everything be concluded.
8. And I, Daniel, heard but could not understand, and I said, "my Lord, what happens next?"
9. And he said to me, "Go, Daniel, because these events are hidden* and will be concluded at the time of the apocalypse.
10. "Many will be chosen, many will be cleansed* and inspired; however, the sinners will sin and not all the sinners will understand,* but the performers of good deeds will understand.
11. "And the season from which the offering has passed,* shall be inundated* with the throes of defilement for a period of one thousand, two hundred and ninety Days.
12. "And blessed is the one who is holy, who can reach the one thousand, three hundred and thirty-five Days.
13. "And you, Daniel, rest assured regarding the Apocalypse; you shall rise again in the season of the End Times."*
