The Aramaic Bible Web Log is a forum for discussing the origins of the Bible and the value of translating the Scriptures from the Ancient Aramaic Texts of the Ancient Church of the East directly into English. I believe that the Ancient Aramaic language is the true scribal language of Scriptures. My translations are posted at http://www.v-a.com/bible/. If you send me appropriate questions or comments, I will post them on this Web Log and attempt to answer or respond to them as best as I can. I will only post what I consider proper. I will not include e-mail addresses, but only your name as you wish it to appear on this blog. Click here to submit your questions or comments via e-mail. Or you may use the FORM MAIL at the bottom of this blog.
As Christians let us enjoy the last three years of George Bush's presidency;
we don't know if we'll ever have another evangelical Christian for a President. When America has a Christian President, the Lord blesses the whole nation, just as it was during Biblical times with the leaders of the Children of Israel.
Let us not be skeptical and ungrateful because we live at a time in history when the enemies of Christianity are legion; Jesus came to the world two thousand years ago at just such a time in history, when the Romans were persecuting the Jews. Jesus taught his disciples how to live at such times.
The persecution of Christianity in this day and age was prophesied by Jesus when he said that you will be hated because of my name.
In the 2004 elections, the American people voted for an evangelical Christian President. They also increased the number of conservative representatives in Congress. The victories of the early days of the 21st Century will be an inspiration for American Christians, in their struggle to endure and prevail against the atheism that is sweeping America today, should a secular or liberal candidate be elected President in the 2008 election.
A Christian President like George W. Bush is a sign that the Lord is favoring our nation. However, we should not despair if our next President is not a personal Christian. We must continue to pray for the Lord's mercy and his grace. We must be vigilant in supporting evangelical Christian candidates that emerge from the Republican Party's conservative branch.

Although Christianity is under attack in the world, we need to stay objective in discussing the origins of the Scriptures. The Internet provides an opportunity for free discussions. Thank you for participating and expressing your opinions, as I have.
