The Internet has increased communication to such an extent that information has become the main commodity in the world -- not useful information necessarily, or for that matter, not even beneficial knowledge, or even true knowledge. No, the development of the Internet has resulted into a marketplace for ideas and all sorts of information, absolutely unrelated to its value for anyone or relevance to anything. This information is for sale to whoever wishes to buy it, find use for it or waste his or her time with it. Information is then simply a commodity to be traded alongside of precious metals and pork bellies.
To make a living in the Internet Age, the information could be sold to a targeted audience that can use it for business, science, or religious purposes; or the information can be disseminated to everyone in the world indiscriminately. The Internet reaches more and more people. Eventually, everyone will be in some way connected to the Internet. So in this case, the information is broadcast as news, and as such advertisers will have to pay for it, in order for them to make money with it. So then the Internet replaces television as the main source of information.
This phenomenon creates multiple channels for the news. No longer is it necessary to receive the news from a limited number of legitimate channels; anybody can now blog the news over the Internet. The proliferation of information is phenomenal, and nobody knows the source or accuracy of the news anymore. It is more useful for people to find the stories they believe in anyway. So the Internet becomes a panacea for everyone. It works better when there are infinite interpretations to the stories being floated. More money can be made that way too.
This is why there are so many religions now. One can find all the sources of religious thinking in the world and choose the most safe religion to practice, or avoid. Also, the most used search engines are the ones that take no sides in the issue of who is right or who is wrong. That is why advertising on the search engines costs money. If people are selling books, they can buy an ad on Google, for example. They pay to have their product in the top positions on the search pages. So, then the accurate information gets tainted by the advertising. However, the search engines that make the most money are the ones that allow advertising. So ultimately no one knows what the truth is.
Originally, there was one source of knowledge that represented the truth. It was the Scriptures. If you wanted to know what the Scriptures said, you went to a temple or read the Scriptures. The Scriptures were recorded at the dawn of history when writing was invented. In much the same way, first, writing was used to record the ownership of property and the conveyance of commercial documents. Then stories and ideas were recorded and literature was born. The observation of nature and the celestial bodies gave birth to astronomy and then astrology. Later, religious laws were recorded and passed on from generation to generation. This began in Mesopotamia and the Jewish people became the dominant force in observing these laws.
By the time of Eashoa (Jesus), the Jewish religion was under heavy persecution. First Greek and then Roman religions had superceded Judaism. Eashoa revitalized the true faith of the Jews. The Apostles preached the Scriptures throughout the world and Eashoa's teachings became the only source of truth, the essential and only lifesaving truth. For five hundred years the Scriptures were only read in the Ancient Aramaic-Hebrew script. From the time of Babylon, all the writings had the same origin in picture writing and cuneiform. There were no other scribal languages. The language of the Epic of Gilgamish and that of the story of Noah and the Flood are the same. There are dialectical differences, but the alphabet and the phonetics are the same.
There is only one reason why these truths are not known; to make money, some lies have to be told. The history of Western Christianity and its myriad denominations is the story of men trying to make a living by fabricating stories around the original Scriptures. These stories are embellished versions of the Scriptures.
After the Roman Catholic Church was formed, the scholars who usurped the Scriptures from the Ancient Church of the East in Asia Minor around the 4th Century AD, began a systematic obliteration of the doctrines of the Apostolic Faith. The Popes and the leading authorities of the Church locked up the Ancient Aramaic Scriptures in the Vatican Library. These documents remain there to this day. In the centuries that followed, the Catholics gathered practically all the original Scriptures recorded in the Ancient Aramaic language.
In 1440, the Gutenberg Press published a Latin version of the Bible. This was the first printing press and the printing led to a new period in religious interpretation. No longer was the Church the only interpreter of the Bible; now anybody could interpret the Scriptures. This was the birth of the Christian sects and the distortion of the Scriptures.
The Protestants came along in the 16th Century and rebelled against the Catholic interpretation of the Scriptures. The Protestants wanted to be able to make money with their version of the Scriptures, so they needed new versions that suited their audience demographics and historical claims. The Catholics began to burn at the stake the Protestant leaders for translating the Scriptures into English. This is why William Tyndale was burned at the stake. The King James Version is based on Tyndale's translations of the Scriptures from the Greek and Hebrew. Even though the Greek and Hebrew Bibles that Tyndale translated from were themselves translations, it made no difference to the Church. The Catholics wanted to be the only ones to interpret the Bible. So the fight was over who was authorized to make the money from the preaching of the Bible.
Today, the Internet has changed all that. There is no way to control the proliferation of information on the Internet; anybody can make money selling his or her version of the Bible. So there is no way of telling which are the lifesaving doctrines of Eashoa the Messiah prophesied by the Scriptures and which are the falsified versions.
This is why I'm glad I had to take off the ads from my Aramaic Bible web pages. The ads were being bought by people who were selling their versions of the Bible. Some of them were giving their Bibles for free. They usually made their money by charging a few dollars for shipping and handling. And the Bibles they were giving away for free were copies of the American Bibles, some with special modifications and additions.
Thus, the Internet has finally brought the knowledge of the Scriptures back to its original form. There is only one authentic collection of Scriptures in the world. Paul was the last apostle who compiled the Scriptures and passed them on to all the Churches. They are distinguished only by the people who know how to read the Ancient form of Aramaic. In this way the Messiah Eashoa has preserved the Scriptures for all ages. It is my privilege to read and share this language with my readers over the Internet.
