Spiritual Evolution Leads to the Coming of the Messiah
The Old Testament Scriptures trace the spiritual evolution of the human being. Just as human beings evolved physically from their primitive state of being hunters and gatherers, they also evolved spiritually to become ready for the transformation that Eashoa Msheekha would bestow upon them when He came to the world.
This is the overall purpose of Eashoa Msheekha's coming to the world. He did not just come to die -- even though the Scriptures said that He would be the sacrificial lamb -- it was going to be a little more complicated. All the lessons of history were to become the building blocks of humanity's spiritual education.
Eashoa Msheekha's education was not going to be for a special class of citizens who would get a degree in theology and make a living as Scribes and Pharisees. Eashoa Msheekha believed in equality and the history lessons would enable all peoples of the world to have a chance at living a meaningful life. It was the original version of the American Dream, except it was going to be a lot more universal and better suited for diverse societies.
If you study the various Books of the Old Testament, you will find specific lessons regarding the spiritual evolution that would be necessary to appreciate the teachings of Maran Eashoa Msheekha.
