The Faith in Eashoa Msheekha is different than the other monotheistic religions.
The Jews who did not follow Eashoa two thousand years ago believed in the Elohim who saved them from enslavement in Missrin (Egypt) and promised them a king in the line of David. When they saw Eashoa they did not see a king who could free them from the oppression of Rome. The religious hierarchy in Jerusalem rejected Him.
The Christians who looked for a Messiah, or Christ, who would give them the kingdom in this world, seized the authority that they reckoned belonged to the Pharisees and Scribes, thinking that they were going to be more worthy of the inheritance. They marginalized the Disciples of Eashoa and championed the position of Shimun Keepa as the rock upon which Eashoa built His Church. Even though Rome did not convert to Christianity for five centuries, the Roman Church still believed they possessed the keys to the kingdom of heaven given to Shimun Keepa, whom they called Peter. Although Peter probably never went to Rome, they claim to this day that his bones are buried in the catacombs under the basilica. He even wrote his letters from Mesopotamia. It is in all the Bible histories, including theirs. But physical relics do not replace spiritual realities given by Eashoa Msheekha.
The Muslims came in the 7th Century and fought to spread their faith in the one Allah, to make all nations submit to his will. Islam is the religion of submission to Allah. 'Islam' does not mean 'peace,' it means 'submission,' albeit submission to Allah. Even Pope Francis now says 'Islam is the religion of peace.' It is misrepresentation to say that Islam does not force its religion on everyone they can. Islam recognizes that Allah is the only Allah, the most powerful force in the universe, and that Allah must be feared and regarded with absolute submission; and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
American Christianity has brought the three monotheistic religions under the umbrella of religious freedom and the separation of church and state. Their position is an amalgam of the three religions. American Christianity has no problems with accepting that the Messiah is a descendant of King David, that Jesus sacrificed himself on behalf of everyone. American Christianity has no problems with Mohammad being the Messenger of Allah or God. American Christianity has no problems with the kingdom being taken from the Jews and given to the Gentiles. So this way they are in charge. And they have done a fair job of diplomacy. No one else can be entrusted with the job at this point.
In this holiday season, we are blessed to be under the protection of the biggest champion of freedom.
However, the Faith in Maran Eashoa Msheekha is different. Eashoa was born two thousand years ago not as a king but as a vulnerable baby in a manger. His parents were turned away by everyone. There was no room for them. They had to flee to Missrin (Egypt) -- like the children of Jacob fleeing the famine -- and they had to fear the executioners of Herod who killed all the babies in Judea in search of the baby Eashoa. This was not what the Jews who rejected Eashoa thought is how their king would come. Nor is it how the Muslims thought of the all powerful Allah would send Eashoa into the world. It is surprising that American theologians have not tried to explain this strange phenomenon, except as a mystery of one kind or another.
The Faith in Maran Eashoa Msheekha is based on the revelation of His Milta or Manifestation. Maryah Allaha gave humanity the Scriptures through the Prophets and the Law; but Eashoa had to fulfill the prophecies in order for the Faith in His name would be established as a Kingdom of Heaven that supercedes the kingdoms and the powers of the world. Maran Eashoa Msheekha had to come to explain it all, to make sense of it all, and to proffer the Faith in His Name to all those who would follow Him.
Maran Eashoa Msheekha is always going to be with His followers. He came to the world to give His followers the gift of faith. With the Faith in His Name His followers can endure the suffering imposed on them by the world. This Faith ultimately leads to eternal life, but while in this world His followers will be able to endure the suffering imposed on them by the evildoers. It may seem that the evildoers are prospering more and enjoying life to a greater extent than the followers of Eashoa, but this period is only short lived and illusory.
Maryah Allaha sent His Son to the world for a different reason than the three monotheistic religions thought. Although they all claim to know the Scriptures, they missed the essential fact that Eashoa Msheekha is the only Milta of the Truth revealed in the Scriptures. Following His words as He stated them to His Disciples and His Apostles is the most important thing we can do as followers of Maran Eashoa Msheekha.
